Parent Education

ABG therapists are offering a new parent education series to parents in our community. Parental involvement is widely accepted as the most effective method of language intervention for infants and young children. We know that parents can be their child's best support when they know how to maximize the language learning opportunities that are part of everyday routines. Children whose parents play an active role in supporting their therapy objectives meet their goals more quickly and have more fun doing it. In order to help parents understand the importance of their support and give them the tools they need to be active members of their child's therapy team, we are offering a three-week course several times a year. Details on our sessions are below.
